But unlike Rocky, D'Adamo's characters punch shadows and walls--which punch back. Those uninitiated to D'adamo World may take many before realizing this is all extremely FUNNY, but you feel terrible laughing at his hapless losers. Don't. Thomas D'Adamo is a dish best served in a dark room, or blindfolded. You don't want to be distracted by tradition or convention or expectation. You just take what he serves and swallow it. Don't question it. I find his stories enormously funny and immensely entertaining. A very talented writer.
